Eucalyptus pauciflora - Snow Gum - Pauciflora Frosty

A highly adaptable tree, the Snow Gum or Eucalyptus pauciflora will bend its branches during winter so that the outermost branches extend vertically down and snow is shed from the leaves. This tree has many horticultural and practical uses.  Also known as White Sallee, Cabbage Gum, Weeping Gum or Ghost Gum.  it can be used for windbreaks, shade, fence posts, fuel, honey and also for medicinal usage.

Width:  10 metres.

Growth rate: Moderate.

Form:  Upright, widely spreading

Foliage:  Eucalyptus pauciflora - Snow Gum has narrowly ovate, glossy, thick and waxy, green leaves.

Flower:  Clusters of white flowers
 
Tolerances: Eucalyptus pauciflora - Snow Gum can withstand snow and ice, and prospers in well-drained soil and colder areas, but is able to grow in diverse areas from shallow rocky soils in very exposed dry areas to wet snowy areas on high ridge tops.

Landscape use:  Shade tree for large gardens and parks.

Transport Interstate: For Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide, we use a third party plant transport company. Interstate transport is quoted per consignment, based on volume & space.

Transport to these locations will be a minimum of $250.
