Prunus blireana - Flowering Plum Tree is a flowering plum with an excellent massed display of double pink flowers followed by bronzy-purple foliage. Attractive as a single specimen or in massed planting for long driveways and avenues.

Growth rate: Moderate.
Form: Prunus blireana - Flowering Plum Tree is upright, narrow, becoming rounded with age. Fast growing when young.
Foliage: Bronzy-purple to dark greenish-purple. New growth is bronzy-red.
Flowers: Double. Rose-pink flowers are borne in profusion along the bare branches in early spring. Mildly fragrant.
Bark: Dark purple-red branches.
Tolerances: Prunus blireana - Flowering Plum Tree is adaptable to a variety of site conditions, but prefers moist, well drained fertile soils and a position receiving full sun to part-shade. Flowers best in full sun. Proven and robust small tree for a wide range of situations
