Malus Polka - Ballerina Apple trees are narrow, columnular trees ideal for a small garden or pots. They reach about 4m high at 20 years and can be planted about 1m apart. Very little pruning is required - just cut back any side shoots in winter leaving two buds from the stem.
Fruit: Malus Polka - Ballerina Apples are medium sized round fruit. Skin is green with red on exposed areas, flesh is similar to a Granny Smith.
Flavour: Very good, crisp and juicy.
Cropping: Precocious. Produces fruit on spurs next to the main trunk. Requires thinning.
Pollination: Waltz, Maypole, Bolero, Flamenco, Jonathan, Granny Smith, Dayton.
Uses: Suitable for fresh fruit, drying and cooking.
Maturity: Malus Polka - Ballerina Apple's maturity is early March to early April.

Transport to these locations will be a minimum of $250.
